Mitsubishi Electric has launched a
new generation of hand dryers , the
Jet Towel. Instead of using heat to
evaporate moisture from hands, the
design (now in its eighth generation)
uses a laminar jet of high speed air to
blow it off - down into a drip tray
for maximum hygiene.
Energy consumption is said to be a fraction that of an older style dryer at only 550W. Additionally, high speed hand dryers attract tax relief under the Enhanced Capital Allowance scheme, which can provide significant savings and contribute towards organisations' environmental policies.
