Available from A-Gas
(UK), Braze-A-Gas is a
new portable range of
high temperature welding
gases suitable for the
refrigeration and air
conditioning trade.
Ken Logan, managing director, says: "The Braze- A-Gas range addresses engineers' needs with portable oxygen and acetylene cylinders and flame torches that can provide a temperature of 3500°C, which is significantly hotter than propane, propylene and MAPP gases." The gases can be used with a wide range of metals including copper and steel, and the flame delivers good localised heating with a minimum of wasted heat. Applications include: Brazing copper pipes together in refrigeration and air conditioning systems; brazing aluminium parts together in automotive air conditioning systems; welding and cutting pipe and steel in industrial fabrications.
