Pegasus is a new mobile phone and online tracking system developed by Bartec for industrial applications. Of rugged design and meeting IP 65, it can be used in operating temperatures from -20 to 60°C and is certified to ATEX, IECEX, UL and INMETRO.

GPS receivers and special software make Pegasus an efficient tracking system. A man-down function reacts to the absence of movement and triggers an alarm after a pre-defined period. The alarm, including the GPS position data, can be forwarded as a text message, link to the position or via GPRS to a server.
