Elmdale group acquires brook alloys

Elmdale Group, an ESAB distributor and one of the UK's largest independent welding equipment distributors, has acquired Brook Alloys, a welding and tool supplier based in Norwich. This acquisition reinforces Elmdale's geographical presence in East Anglia and opens new potential markets for the Group.

Formed in 1982, Brook Alloys services the needs of local industry in East Anglia with its van deliveries to farms, local garages, workshops and other smaller organisations involved in welding, repairs and metal fabrication. Additionally, it has a customer base of medium to large fabricators.

A fleet of vans provide customers with a one stop shop for welding equipment, tools, personal protec tion and safety products. In addition, Elmdale Plant Hire has launched an exclusive range of Sabre Welding Gases that will be available through the Brook Alloys delivery service.
