Protection & comfort in Type 5 & 6 categories

DuPont Personal Protection will be displaying a range of trusted products at Health & Safety South that help to protect against liquid, chemical, heat and flame hazards.

After 18 years of successfully protecting people and processes with Tyvek Classic, DuPont has developed the second generation coverall, Tyvek Classic Xpert, to provide a superior level of protection and comfort in the Type 5 and 6 categories. To help explain the difference between SMS, Microporous Film and Tyvek materials, DuPont will show its Professor Tytonius videos and Neil Sutherland will host two seminars on whether your chemical protective clothing is really protecting you.

In addition to Tyvek Classic Xpert, visitors will be able to see new solutions for a range of working conditions and hazards. On the stand will be DuPont ProShield FR, a new hooded protective coverall made from a non-halogenated flame-retardant non-woven fabric that provides limited protection to wearers, and reusable flame-resistant garments worn beneath, against heat, flames and chemicals.
