Accelerometers: New kits cut fitting times
04 March 2013
Hansford Sensors has launched its latest spot facing installation kits to help maintenance and production engineers cut the time needed for the fitting of accelerometers.

Hansford Sensors has
launched its latest spot
facing installation kits
to help maintenance
and production
engineers cut the time
needed for the fitting of
accelerometers.
The latest kits have a new design of spot facing tool, with a high-wear tungsten tip, which is said to extend operating life still further, while enhancing the precision with which each sensor can be fitted. The kit includes tapping drill, taps and tap wrench, providing everything engineers need to prepare the surface of the equipment to be monitored, form the appropriate mounting hole and install the sensor to ensure output readings are accurate, consistent and repeatable.
