Short term delivery suits Lord's
26 September 2013
Lord’s Cricket Ground has a single counterbalance forklift truck permanently on-site, but during the England v Australia Test Match in July, which saw capacity crowds, an extra machine was needed to deliver snacks and drinks to retail outlets across the Ground.

MCC opted for a gas-powered truck from Jungheinrich’s short term rental fleet. Logistics manager, Keith Wyatt, said: "Several members of my team recommended Jungheinrich, as they had operated the company's trucks during last summer’s Olympic Games. I’m really happy with the service they provided and found everyone at Jungheinrich a joy to work with.”
Neil Warren, Jungheinrich UK’s Used Equipment and Short Term Rental director, commented: "Because our short term rental trucks are, on average, less than two years old, our clients get state-of-the-art equipment that not only looks good but is energy efficient and ultra reliable."
