Suffolk contract packer, Glowcroft, has secured extra work after enlisting Linx to help meet an urgent deadline.

The Linx 4900 is the third printer purchased by Glowcroft and was needed to print long and complicated batch codes and best before dates onto flexible packaging. The message was printed on one line with about 60 characters 8mm tall, and coding 12–14 packs per minute with Linx Black ink 1240.

The Linx 4900 can print onto virtually any material. Its FullFlush automatic printhead cleaning system ensures mess-free starts and stops, while the robust sealed printhead, with no exposed critical parts, is easy to maintain
