Sound and vibration meters

30 July 2013

Svantek will be exhibiting its SV104, the company’s smallest noise dosimeter, which, despite its compact size, boasts all the capabilities and functions of a full-size dosimeter..

Featuring an inbuilt tri-axial accelerometer for vibration shock detection, the SV104 uses a virtually indestructible, MEMS microphone. It has audio recording and octave band analysis for hearing protection selection.

Also on show, Svantek’s power-packed SVAN 971 sound level meter and analyser is equally compact and lightweight. It offers audio event recording, detachable pre-amp and microphone, a dosimeter function and a vast time/history logging capability, and is suitable for industrial hygiene, short period environmental, and general acoustic noise measurement.

Visitors will also be able to view the finely-tuned SVAN 977. Simple to use to measure and analyse both sound and vibration, it works effectively in workplace health and safety and/or environmental monitoring. Like the 971, the 977 provides broadband results with all the standard weighting filters. Stand 78
