End of line upgrade

In a project handled by Aetna and Russell Distribution, Highland Spring Group has upgraded the end of line pallet conveyors and lorry loading capability at its Fells plant in Lennoxtown.
A loading area was prepared and three dock levellers built to allow direct loading of pallets straight into containers. An Aetna pallet conveying system was installed to link the out feeds of the three bottling lines, taking palletised loads straight to the loading bay.
This involved a number of modifications to the existing end of lines, coupled with the relocation of a high speed Robopac Genesis pallet wrapper, Aetna pallet conveyors, pallet turntables and a hydraulic lift system.
