Change of name for Ceram

Materials technology group, Ceram is changing its name to Lucideon from February 1. The firm has acquired new businesses over the years and the move is designed to bring them together under one banner.
The name Lucideon has been chosen carefully. It is made up of two words: ‘Lucid’, as in making things clear and intelligible, and ‘Eon’ meaning a period of time.
The company, which offers materials development, testing and analysis, resource efficiency and assurance to clients around the globe, will be given a fresh look as a result of the change of identity, with a new logo, signage and website.
