New spin on machining centres

Premier Machine Tools has celebrated a new agency agreement with German CNC manufacturer, SPINNER Werkzeugmaschinenfabrik, by hosting an open house event, which resulted in two machine sales and a high level of enquiries.
To introduce Spinner to the Irish manufacturing industry, Premier showcased the new Spinner U5-620 and U5-1520, 5-axis machining centres as well as the Spinner TTC300 multi-axis turning centre and the Spinner PD precision hard turning centre.
The Spinner U5-620 has an X-axis bed of 620mm whilst the U5-1520 offers a twin table set-up with one 620mm 5-axis table and also a fixed table to reduce set-ups and improve flexibility. Both machines offer a 32 or 55 rapid tool change facility as standard and simultaneous 5-axis machining available via a rotary/tilting table.
