Demand soars for the Multicube Modular Meter
27 May 2014
A leading independent metering specialist is reporting a massive surge in demand for the Multicube Modular Meter, citing greater flexibility, cost savings and the opportunity to future proof further expansion needs.

MWA Technology, which is a founding member of the Ofgem RHI Advisory Group, believes the new product is ideal for applications where multiple meters need to be installed, providing a high-density system that offers simplified wiring and advanced features.
The module framework also allows for future expansion if required and automated technology allows the meter to correct any current transformers that may have been installed the wrong way around.
David Gleadhill, Commercial Director at MWA Technology, explained: "If you are looking for a multiple metering solution that is space efficient, time efficient to install/set-up and future proofs installations for expansion then the Multicube is exactly what companies should invest in.
"Other features of the system include single voltage connection, up to 80% reduction in cabling, connections and space and data logging options with the potential to reduce costs by up to 50% per meter point.”
MWA Technology currently supplies its metering solutions to distributors, contractors, OEMs, facility management companies and energy monitoring professionals.
In addition to a 5000-strong meter range, the company has introduced services to clients including repair and refurbishment of meters, testing, technical and on-site support.
