Help meeting EN 1090
15 July 2014
To assist fabricators in complying with the requirements of EN 1090, the European standard governing the execution of steel and aluminium structures, ESAB Welding & Cutting Products now offers certified Welding Procedure Qualification Records (WPQR) for MIG/MAG and MMA welding.

As of 1st July 2014, EN 1090 replaced all national standards and requires manufacturers of structural work made from steel or aluminum in all EU countries to conform to this new quality standard.
ESAB helps fabricators reduce the time and expense of achieving qualified weld production processes with tested and approved WPQRs from which users can create the necessary Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) required to obtain certification under EN 1090.
