Metering management team unveiled
13 August 2014
Energy Assets Group, one of the leading independent meter asset management businesses serving the UK industrial and commercial (I&C) sector, has appointed David Sing to lead the senior management team at Bglobal Metering (BgM), the electricity metering company acquired by the Group earlier this year.

Sing becomes general manager at the Darwen, Lancashire-based operation, with Martin Thomasson heading up data integrity, and Kathryn Dodgson responsible for regulation and compliance. Sue Handford, sales and the MOP process; Pauline Bryon, customer services; Tom Smith, financial control; and Gavin Stacey, metering operations, make up the rest of the team.
"Bglobal Metering is a critical part of our strategic plan to develop and deliver a true multi-utility offer to the UK I&C sector," said Energy Assets Group CEO Phil Bellamy-Lee. "We now have the building blocks in place to offer our growing customer base a range of innovative energy management, metering, infrastructure design, and data collection and aggregation services covering gas, electricity and water.
"Increasingly, what sets us apart is our ability to help customers take better control of their energy usage through our growing portfolio of control technologies, such as Z-Lynk. So not only can we enable end users to collect and analyse data through advanced metering technology, we can also help them effect change and reduce consumption through dynamic load management."
