Expanded showfloor for Facilities Management 2015

23 February 2015

Boasting an expanded showfloor, Facilities Management 2015, will take place at the NEC, Birmingham from 24th to 26th March and will be co-located with three complementary shows

Many major exhibitors from across Europe have been quick to sign up for Facilities Management 2015, including names such as McQuay Services, Lutterworth Ecolighting, Current Force IFM, Scot Young Research and Squiggle Glass, who have all confirmed that they will be showcasing their latest products and services.

For all those looking to improve their green footprint and for the latest in disinfecting and sanitising, Green World Innovations will be exhibiting its newest product, the lotus PRO Cleaning Solution. It quickly transforms water into aqueous ozone, by simply infusing water with ozone, which the unit can efficiently stabilise for up to 24 hours. The infused water or aqueous ozone is totally chemical free.

The Local Government Association (LGA) estimates the annual cost of removing chewing gum from UK pavements has reached £56 million, with around 6t dropped in the West End of London alone each year. If this is a problem for you, then a visit to the Ecogum stand may prove of use. The company will be showcasing its Ecogum PRX1, which is a portable machine that removes chewing gum from any facility. It features a lightweight backpack with an Ecogum removal solution and pump that produces 3ml of the solution every second.

Access Control Technology, which designs and manufactures electronic access control and door entry products, will use the show to introduce ACTviquest, which is an integrated access control and video management solution - all-in-one compact box. It is capable of recording up to 8 channels and managing up to 100 doors with ACTenterprise Lite, and will suit most small to medium sized applications allowing approximately 12 days recording.

CPA Engineered Solutions' Enershield Air Barrier cleverly creates a ‘virtual door’ by recirculating ambient air and forcing it across an opening to create up to a 90% seal. The seal separates the atmospheres on either side and stops the transfer of temperature, humidity, dust, odours and insects. With just a draught of air creating the barrier, vehicles and pedestrians can pass without obstruction.

Education and entertainment

Visitors will have plenty of learning opportunities at Facilities Management 2015 too, including a return of The Business Exchange. This will feature a selection of free, content-rich practical talks outlining the latest research, innovations and case studies exploring the hottest topics, challenges and trends. Running in conjunction with The Business Exchange will be FM Matters where experts from some of the biggest names in industry will share their knowledge and experience.

There will be additional entertainment in the form of show favourite, Lions’ Lair, which will see the event’s newest technologies, innovations and concepts pitched to an expert panel in a bid to find the best in show. The winner will be announced live on the show floor, straight after the voting has closed.

Co-locations

Facilities Management 2015 will be co-located with three other complementary shows including a new show – Cleaning 2015 –which will focus specifically on the buyers and suppliers from within the cleaning sector.

Its second co-location is Maintec – an event for the maintenance, plant and asset management industry – a neat fit as many FM visitors also have a wider maintenance remit. The Health & Safety Event, which is run by Western Business Exhibitions, rounds off the co-locations.
