A measure of vibration
12 May 2015
Casella’s new Hand Arm Vibration Meter has been developed to monitor those susceptible to hand arm vibration syndrome (HAVS). This serious condition affects one in 10 people working with hand-held, vibrating power tools, such as hammer drills, chainsaws and concrete breakers.

The new meter will help users evaluate risk and accurately assess vibration levels. With just three operational buttons, it is quick and easy to operate. It tracks the length of time the operator is exposed to the vibration and is able to calculate and display total exposure, in accordance with current legislation.
