Schneider Electric has broadened its range of Altivar Process drives. The updated range now includes a solution for energy-intensive applications in the oil & gas and mining, minerals & metals sectors.

Altivar Process drives are said to help optimise business performance by reducing commissioning time and improving production uptime. In addition, they are designed to optimise energy usage during production for increased savings.
Alain Dedieu, SVP of Schneider Electric’s Industry Control & Drives business, said, "We are pleased to offer enhanced solutions for process industries. Our customers can now use Altivar Process for everything from single-drive projects to the most complex multidrive applications involving advanced load-sharing functions.
