Pump order's in the can
12 May 2015
Greenbank Technology has introduced Torrent One, a compact can washer that washes all can sizes and copes with between 1000 and 6000 aluminium/steel beverage cans per minute. The product is said to minimise water and chemical demands and to have a significantly reduced footprint.

Engineers spoke to Grundfos Pumps about the pumps that would be incorporated. The company realised that by designing in 18 members of the Grundfos CRN stainless steel multistage centrifugal pumps of vertical design, they would achieve a reduction in the washer's overall footprint, and deliver a reliable, energy-saving solution.
These new machines although only recently introduced, are proving popular and there are already many in-situ in the field operating effectively and efficiently.
