27 August 2015
RS Components (RS) has launched a more advanced model of its RS brand IdeaWerk 3D printer. The RS IdeaWerk Pro is capable of handling multiple types of filaments, including Flexible, PLA, ABS, PA/NYLON, PC, HIPS and PVA.

Features include: build volume of 150 x 150 x 140mm; minimum layer resolution of 0.18mm; and maximum print speed of 30mm3 per hour, which makes it one of the fastest 3D printers in its class. In addition to offering multiple filament options including PLA material, the RS IdeaWerk Pro features a heated bed that can handle 0 to 120°C and high-temperature extrusion to 300°C. Additional capabilities of the printer, available via the product’s touchscreen, include: temperature adjustment of extruder and heated bed; control of filament (in/out) and XYZ-axis movement; progress and status display; and temperature unit selection.
