Be seen to be safe

16 February 2016

Arco has launched its ‘Be Safe Be Seen’ campaign, highlighting a range of Hi Vis hazard wear.

Arco offers a range of HiVis hazard wear to suit all budgets from Arco Essentials through to Gore-Tex garments, which have all been tested to meet relevant EN Standards.

Richard Sansom, product and procurement manager, said: “Arco is the first safety distributor to have its own in-house Product Assurance Laboratory which offers customers the reassurance that our HiVis garments meet or exceed the current EN standards and offer high quality protection.

"There are a number of fake and substandard Hi Vis garments on the market which are putting workers’ lives at risk. Our core purpose is to help people stay safe at work and we are committed to ensuring that only high quality, safe and reliable products are available to our customers.”

As part of its commitment to safety, Arco has also produced a dedicated Expert Guide to Hi Vis Hazard wear (www.arco.co.uk/besafe) which provides guidance on identifying and selecting the most appropriate workwear to keep the customer safe. As well as featuring a dedicated range of Hi-Vis garments available from Arco, The Expert Guide provides an overview of EN standards and guidance on combining Hi-Vis protection that also feature flame resistant (FR) and rain protection properties.

For companies that are looking for smart, branded hazardwear, the Arco Clothing Centre (ACC) offers a fully managed branding service that includes all elements of the process from design concept right through to delivery. The service explores alternative methods to brand customers hazardwear and Arco specialist advisors will work with customers to determine the best option to conform to legislation and ensure compliance.
