Interlocking tiles chosen for car dealership
18 January 2016
SG Petch is a family run multi-franchise car and van dealership with branches in Darlington, Durham, Middlesbrough, Richmond and York. When the Darlington branch wanted to improve its facilities, finding the right floor was a crucial part of the process.

Modern innovations such as video health checks mean their customers at SG Petch can see their cars being worked on in the garage, so a professional environment is paramount.
A total of 220m of Ecotile E500/7 interlocking PVC floor tiles was installed in two days ensuring little disruption to customers and employees. The 7mm thick product was chosen as the tiles needed to be exceptionally robust, durable and easy to maintain to cope with the stress of a busy garage environment.
David Gordge, service manager, SG Petch, explains: “We chose Ecotile as it was the most cost-effective solution in comparison with paint and ceramic tiles. Additional benefits include the safety and comfort of the working environment, it seems much warmer. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ecotile to anyone searching for an attractive, heavy-duty floor.”
