Versatile pipework

The pipework system had to cater for a variety of pipe lines within the plant, with the selected pipework required to safely convey a mix of fluids including water, treated and untreated effluent and a variety of chemicals such as sodium hydroxide and ferric chloride. As a result, Durapipe PVC-U in sizes up to 2” was specified for all pipe lines within the effluent plant.

Selected due to its versatility, Durapipe PVC-U allows the safe transportation of many acids, alkalis and chemical concentrates without fear of corrosion and environmental pollution, making it the ideal solution for such varied fluid requirements
