Quiz to help employees get appropriate qualification
06 April 2016
EEF, the manufacturers’ organisation, has launched a new Leadership & Management Quiz, to help companies and employees identify the right leadership qualification for their needs.
The move is part of a wider drive to help firms identify and retain leadership talent and ultimately boost productivity. It follows research showing that almost nine in ten firms (88%) are potentially failing to harness their employees’ leadership potential.
The quiz is free, simple and quick to take online. It can be used by employees interested in knowing the best qualification level to suit their career aspirations or by those responsible for training who want to develop and retain team talent.
The quiz asks 11 questions to identify what level of qualification you should be starting from, based on your previous experience, current role and ultimate career goals.
Judith Hogg, director of training and head of learning and development at EEF, says: “This quiz is a simple and effective way to help businesses and employees to harness and nurture leadership talent. Effective leadership enhances business performance and increases productivity. Investing in its development is a win-win for companies and for employees, who will feel more motivated and inspired to grow.”
