PPE selection guide
31 March 2017
RS Components (RS) has released a Personal Protective Equipment Selection Guide, which brings together technical information from all of its major PPE brands for gloves, hearing protection, respiratory protection and eyewear.

Developed in collaboration with multiple suppliers, including Bolle and 3M, the 50-page guide is easy to navigate: each primary product section is colour-coded, and introductory pages in each section list important factors to take into consideration when selecting the most appropriate product, including in-depth information on sizing, materials, applications and all applicable risks, standards and legislation.
Users are then presented with clear and unambiguous product tables, which highlight all the primary brands, including the company’s own brand RS Pro, the products they offer and what functional characteristics they exhibit based on the explanations in the introductions. Once a selection has been narrowed down, users are able to choose a specific product size, which then indicates the appropriate RS product-ordering code.
