Health check for pumps
03 August 2017
Grundfos Pumps comments that older pumps not only consume too much energy, they are prone to failure that can adversely affect your business and your maintenance budget. By replacing them with new, energy-efficient pumps, you get reliable, low-cost pump operation.

A large office building in central London, for example, replaced obsolete pumps with energy-efficient models following a Grundfos Energy Check. The pumps now operate to meet actual demand, and are delivering a saving of 318,000kWh/year after the company carried out recommendations it received following a Grundfos Energy Check. This amounts to a saving of £30k per annum, a large reduction in CO2 emissions and payback of just 2.8 years.
Grundfos says that with an Energy Check it can typically achieve savings of 30 to 50% for customers.
