New renewables showcase event

Composites UK is organising its second composites showcase of the year, this time covering the topic of fibre reinforced polymer composites (FRPs) in renewable energy.This sector is a new addition to the showcase series and takes place at Glasgow Caledonian University on 19th July 2018.

Claire Whysall, communications manager at Composites UK said: “As stated in the 2016 Composites Industry Strategy, there will be accelerated organic growth in the established composites-using sectors like Renewables, predicting a £50million sector increase by 2020, and a further £230million increase by 2030.
“It is important that we are supporting this growth through networking and new partnerships.”
