Support for composites companies

Composites UK, trade association for the UK composites industry, has launched a series of regional events to highlight the funding and support opportunities available to composites companies in their locality.
Presentations are planned from European, national and regional bodies such as UKTI, European Enterprise Network, Scottish Enterprise, Knowledge Transfer Network, MAS, How2 and Utilitywise. Presenters vary per event depending on the region covered.
Planned events are as follows:
• Scotland, 24th August 2015 at Scott and Fyfe, Dundee – Supported by Scottish Enterprise.
• Scotland, 26th August 2015 at the University of Strathcylde – Supported by Scottish Enterprise.
• North-West, 29th September 2015 at the University of Manchester – Supported by the National Composites Certification and Evaluation Facility (NCCEF).
• East Midlands, 20th November 2015 at the University of Nottingham – Supported by Far Composites.
Claire Whysall, communications manager for Composites UK said; "In order to support the growth of the composites industry it is important for us to highlight the regional support available to organisations to enable them to benefit from the opportunities on offer. It is also critical to showcase regional expertise and strengthen local collaborative networks”.
