Sensors, seminars and so much more

17 July 2018

Sensors & Instrumentation, sponsored by Mouser Electronics, will return to Hall 1 of the NEC, Birmingham on 25th and 26th September 2018. Registration is now open and there are a number of reasons to visit

In its ninth year, the Sensors & Instrumentation exhibition is the UK’s only national sensors event for test, measurement and control. The show acts as a hub for market-leaders to display their latest devices and, with more than 80 exhibitors, visitors will find products to suit a myriad of applications.

Seminars and workshops

The event will offer a CPD-accredited seminar programme presented by exhibitors and prominent figures within the industry. Seminars will address contemporary issues, adding value to the visitor experience. Speakers include Neil Hamilton of Myriad Group, Alison Mitchell of Sensor City and Jiri Polak of IST.

The 2018 event will also see the introduction of an Engineering Workshop series. Condensed into 45 minute sessions, the workshops are aimed at engineers in the early stages of their careers, looking to learn more about different topics including calibration and laser measurement. Experts will explain how instruments work and the applications in which they can be used. There will also be the opportunity to get hands-on experience with the products.

FLC Zone

The Flow Level Control Zone is new for the 2018 event. Providing a platform for the latest technologies in the flow, level and control sector, this niche area will showcase a range of products and solutions, ranging from the latest valves and flow meters to airbrators and vessels designed to optimise control.

Innovation showcase

The Innovation Showcase, sponsored by Bronkhorst, has been expanded to allow more exhibitors to display their latest products and technology.

Formula 1 simulator

Sponsored by Rheintacho UK, the Formula 1 simulation car gives visitors the opportunity to compete with their colleagues for the fastest lap time. The simulator attracts many visitors and provides a fantastic opportunity for networking.

Co-location

The 2018 show will share a hall with What’s New In Electronics (WNIE) Live and will continue to be co-located with TCT Show and PPMA. So attending Sensors & Instrumentation will provide you with a bumper engineering experience.
