The GRENDiA trucks are fitted with electronic speed control. This includes soft power mode which stops the wheels from spinning, reduces tyre wear, and saves money on maintenance. 

Wayne Hammond of the local Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks distributor stated: "It reduces fuel consumption by up to 19%, which is huge considering the ongoing cost of energy right now. This small addition to the forklifts has been a massive benefit to EPD."
