The latest X-Range counterbalanced
forklift trucks from
Nexen are designed with
operator safety as a key
consideration. They feature a
spacious, floating and vibrationisolated
driver's cell with fully
adjustable suspension seat and
steering column - all aimed at
minimising the transmission of drive
train vibration to the operator.
In addition, a strong overhead guard, fully isolated from the chassis, further boosts protection. Driver fatigue is said to be minimised due to the low level of noise.
The Optimal versions of the range feature DPS, a driver presence sensing system that automatically locks off all hydraulic functions as well as drive to the transmission if the operator leaves his seat.
Optimal + models go a step further by incorporating an antirollback system; Nexen has developed a system for its torque converter drive trucks which, once a dashboard mounted switch is pressed, will automatically apply the brakes when the forklift stops.
