Thermal mass flow meters

Syngas is the result of gasification of various carbon-containing fuels to produce a gaseous product with heating value. Comate TGF600 flow meters are being fitted to environmentally sound Syngas engines manufactured in the UK. They are said to generate substantially less noise and lower emissions than equivalent diesel engines and, as a result, create clean, on-demand electricity.

TGF600 flow meters accurately measure the consumption of Syngas by the generators. Combining state-of-the-art electronics technology with application-proven precision flow sensors, they are designed for extremely demanding plant operating environments.

Incorporating Comate's latest sensor filming technology, the TGF600 offers stable flow rate measurement as low as 0.3Nm/s in pipe sizes from DN25 to DN6000. Models in the range are designed to provide temperature-compensated direct mass flow measurement of air and gases both in small and large diameter pipes, stacks and ducts in power generation, industrial air and gas supply, and compressed air monitoring, in addition to a variety of industrial applications.

The range features the TPA600 circuit board which introduces faster and more powerful processing than it's predecessors, plus clean two-line LCD readouts, showing comprehensive process information to users with both analogue and digital signal outputs of flow rate and sensor status diagnostics.
