Developed especially for Zone 0 or 20
hazardous areas, ifm electronic now
offers its Namur cylinder sensor in a
version certified to the highest
category 1G/1D. The MK502A can be
used in chemical and pharmaceutical
industries as well as in silo
applications, elevators or mills.
A 6m long cable is provided to reach a control panel in a non-hazard location. The connecting cable can be cut to length for flexible installation.
Like all cylinder sensors from ifm electronic, the MK502A offers proven features: it can be inserted into the Tslot from the top and is thus installed quickly and easily. The solidlymoulded housing is secured by a stainless steel fixing that, at the same time, serves as strain relief.
If needed, optional adapters allow the T-slot sensor to be fixed to all common cylinder types.
