Supplier of automatic vehicle loading
systems, Joloda International, says
its loading technology can help
organisations moving large volumes
of palletised goods to save costs,
increase cross dock efficiencies,
improve health and safety, and
reduce their carbon footprint.
When capacity was increased at juice supplier, Gerber's, Bridgwater site, Joloda had to consider: 118 pallets/h being loaded at the production site and unloaded at chilled store; Euro and Chep pallets of up to 1400kg; the time products can be in ambient temperatures; and space restrictions at the loading bay.
Joloda has supplied two loading docks at the factory warehouse and two unloading docks for the storage warehouse, along with four trailer systems to load and unload from the automatic dock systems, taking the pallets of juice to chilled storage 0.25 miles from the production site.
