Joloda are running 24/7 at the DHL
site in Cannock and are used to unload
Unilever brands such as Persil, Pot
Noodle and PG tips].
The Trailerskate systems use dockdriven elevated skates, 15m long that pick up a pre-assembled load and in 3min unload from a tracked trailer, a load of up to 30t up to 26 pallets.
Skates on the dock are elevated by an airbag system within the skate and driven into the trailer by means of a drive chain. Trailers have 4-off simple steel tracks into which the skates run.
Once the load is out of the trailer, air is extracted from the skates and the load lowered to the dock.
