Aspecialist in metalcutting machine tools for prototype and low volume applications, XYZ Machine Tools puts the emphasis on performance, value for money, and high standards of service. The company's portfolio includes CNC/manual lathes and CNC/manual turret and bed mills equipped with ProtoTRAK controls, and full-CNC lathes, machining centres and turning centres with Siemens conversational CNC systems.

A recent addition is the 410mm spindle bore XYZ Oil Country CNC lathe available ex-stock as a 3m distance between centres machine (options range from 1.5 to 16m). This 85hp/5-250 rev/min (in three speed ranges) lathe has easy-to-program Siemens 840D conversational ShopTurn control and a one-piece 544 mm-wide bed with induction hardened and ground slideways.

One of the three machines on show will be a 20hp 5-8000 rev/min XYZ 710 VMC, one of four models of vertical machining centre equipped as standard with the latest Siemens 828D control.
