engineers operating in Scotland.
Gerry Gregory, Crown Lift Trucks service engineer, was snowed-in when local cash and carry business, United Wholesale Grocers, called him with the news that its one-andonly counterbalance forklift was cutting out.
Gregory diagnosed the problem over the phone, packed the required tools and parts in a backpack and set off on foot to finish the job.
