Europe-wide exercise

Life Fitness, a wholly owned division of Brunswick Corp, has chosen Delta Software to integrate its warehousing and logistics operations across Europe using DeltaWMS systems incorporating radio frequency (RF) technology.

Life Fitness EMEA supply chain director Jim Field says: "The DeltaWMS systems will be integrated across our four European operations, with all data stored in a central Life Fitness database. This will allow us to manage our inventory across the region, improve our supply chain control and hone our warehouse performance management." DeltaWMS systems will sit in Life Fitness' three third party logistics centres where warehousing logistics is outsourced to Foulger, Geodis and Wincanton.

DeltaWMS, already up and running in the UK, has just gone live in Holland with Germany to follow.
