products for water and wastewater
treatment applications at the recent
IWEX exhibition at the NEC
Birmingham.Visitors were able to see
a fully automated interactive display
demonstrating how ABB's
technologies can be integrated to
help monitor and control water
supplies. It features various examples
from ABB's Measurement Products
division, controlled by the company's
latest PLC technology with Profibus
and Ethernet communications
technology.
ABB engineers were on hand, offering expert advice on the latest legislation and issues affecting the water industry, including MCERTS, the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme and Leakage Management.
Among the products on display was ABB's MCERTified WaterMaster flowmeter. Designed for the water and wastewater market, it features an octagonal flow sensor and ABB's innovative VeriMaster verification system.
