Leader outsources stock holding and distribution

In a move designed to support future business growth, workholding specialist Leader Chuck Systems has outsourced its consignment stockholding and forwarding distribution to a professional logistics company.

Managing director,Mark Jones, explains the reasoning behind the decision: "With the growth of business provided by new product ranges and the internet, and the imminent launch of our new ecommerce website, we took a strategic decision to put our consolidated shipments and subsequent forwarding services in the hands of a professional logistics company.

"This move will allow us to concentrate on what we are good at, providing pre- and post-sales technical workholding support and advice," he says.

Offering more than twice the storage capacity of its previous warehouse, Leader's new distribution logistics facilities are centrally located in Leamington Spa.
