Smart adsorption air dryers from Hiline
Industries have been enhanced
by touch-screen technology in their
automatic energy management
system (AEMS). This enables remote
dial-in control via mobile phone or
laptop. Lower running costs are said
to be achieved by using a blower/fan,
rather than more expensively
produced compressed air, for
desiccant regeneration.
The controller has a zero loss heater blower programme and undertakes constant monitoring and analysis of dryer load parameters, while making adjustments to the dryer cycle. This maintains low running costs coupled with regeneration at a low energy tariff which ensures compressed air inlet conditions are matched to the dewpoint required.
The controller comes as a factoryfitted attachment with the new HBPTS series of dryers, and can also be retrofitted.
