Retrofit vision control makes the cut

Compatible with oxy-fuel, plasma cutting and marking machines, it is reported that ESAB Cutting Systems' new Vision 51R CNC control system technology will give a new lease of life to existing machines. The Vision 51R is available in a number of packages that are drop-in replacements for existing customers using ESAB NCE controllers as well as other types.

Packages are available ex-stock to minimise downtime and dispense with costly repairs to old, unsupport - ed control systems. Vision 51R offers productivity and operational advantages through features such as faster processing for all nesting and standard shape cutting programs.
