Schaeffler has won a 2012 Excellent Quality Award from Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology, an internationally recognised manufacturer of wind turbines headquartered in China. The Award was presented to Schaeffler during Goldwind's 4th Annual Supplier Conference on 1st February 2013.

This is the third consecutive year that Goldwind has awarded a prize to Schaeffler, following a 'Technology Cooperation Award' in 2010 and an 'Excellent Supplier Award' in 2011.
Schaeffler was the only manufacturer of wind turbine main shaft bearings among the 2012 award winners.
