Accurate biogas measurement

Accurate biogas flow measurement has been problematic and unpredictable due to the difficult and varying nature of the media being measured.

Accurate biogas flow
measurement has been
problematic and unpredictable due
to the difficult and varying
nature of the media
being measured.
Endress+Hauser's new Prosonic Flow B 200 flowmeter claims to rectify this, by using established ultrasonic flow technology, for accurate volumetric biogas measurement. Issues such as moisture, dirt, low pressures, low velocities and changing gas composition do not pose a problem as ultrasonic technology remains unaffected by these external conditions.
Offering high accuracy, negligible pressure loss and a wide operating range, the Prosonic Flow B 200 is available in diameters from DN50 to DN200, is suitable for gas temperatures up to 80°C and low gas pressures.
