Cuts energy waste

09 July 2013

Danlers has launched an IP66 rated Batten Mount Passive infrared occupancy switch that, it says, can deliver significant energy savings.

This easy fit, robust control can be mounted onto the end of lighting battens via the 20mm knock out and benefits from being fully integrated (no separate power supply). The switch also includes 1m of wire tails to connect to the lighting ballast.

The Batten Mount PIR has a passive infrared switch to detect movement of a warm body within the detection zone and includes a photocell to monitor ambient light level which can be adjusted via the internal lux adjuster. If no more movement is detected within a certain time, the PIR will switch off the load, ensuring no unnecessary waste of energy. The time can be set via the internal time lag adjuster.
