Pumps boost transfer

05 August 2013

Proven performance, reduced maintenance costs and easy availability of spares has lead to two EZstrip progressing cavity transfer pumps from NOV Mono being installed by a company known for its print, packaging and associated materials at a wastewater treatment plant in Lower Saxony, Germany.

Previous pumps used for lime dosing duties at the plant had required extensive maintenance. This made the maintain-in-place nature of the EZstrip pumps attractive and prompted the customer to try one. The technology enables progressing cavity pumps to be maintained without the need to remove other equipment or associated pipework. This often allows maintenance to be cut from a full day to just 30min.

The Mono pump transfers the lime dosing at 10-55L/min and 3 bar pressure. Impressed by the pump, the customer has now installed a second unit.
