Have your say on Electricity Market Reform
29 July 2013
The new npower ‘EMR Pulse’ is an online survey designed to give businesses a simple way to air their views on Electricity Market Reform (EMR) – new legislation aiming to make sure the UK remains a leading destination for investment in low-carbon electricity.
The survey will also give businesses the opportunity to participate in the government’s newly-launched consultation on proposals to exempt the most electricity intensive industries from a proportion of the costs of Contracts for Difference – a key component of EMR.
Businesses wishing to contribute to the npower ‘EMR Pulse’ can have their say at: http://bit.ly/EMRpulse1. Once feedback has been gathered, npower will submit its findings on behalf of businesses to government ahead of the consultation deadline on 31 August 2013.
