Desiccant dryer packages

17 October 2013

Silicair Dryers Limited was formed in 1967 and for over 45 years has provided the compressed air industry with air treatment solutions to remove all contaminants and provide a high quality and very dry supply of air or alternative inert gases.

From the early years, the business expanded and concentrated on supplying dryers for standard industrial applications as well as packages for the oil and gas industry. Over the years, the scope of activity increased to other industry sectors, which they still continue to supply today and this continued expansion necessitated a move in 2003 to larger premises in Ashford, Middlesex, UK.

Silicair is a full design, manufacturing and supply organisation with a highly experienced team that are used to working within critical industries and they continue to supply dryer packages with ongoing spare parts / technical support throughout the World.

Whether you require a small desiccant dryer for a small complete installation / point of use application or a complex engineered desiccant dryer package complete with filters and controls etc., Silicair have a product solution to meet your needs. Many of the packages are designed and manufactured to specific client requirements and are supplied to compressor manufacturers, system packagers, distributors and also to many of the World’s leading engineering contractors. In more recent years, the stringent requirements of these packages have increased even further in levels of specification and complexity. The experience and knowledge gained within the Company now means that Silicair is now a leader in this field, supplying products to numerous operating companies within the oil and gas, power generation, medical, pharmaceutical and food & drinks industries to name just a few, where a dry high quality supply of compressed air or gas is required for any particular process application.

Some general pictures on the standard products available are shown here, as well as a typical view of a recently completed fully engineered skid package with all controls and instrumentation installed.
