Drilling & sawing line
21 May 2014
Hescott Engineering, a family run structural steel fabrication business based in Falkirk, currently operates a FICEP P51 and a FICEP 1001 DZB drill/saw line with a maximum production capacity of around 120t per week.

After years years of being very happy with the existing drill/saw line, Hescott purchased a new FICEP Endeavour drilling and sawing line and now reports it has been able to double production with the faster speed and improved technology provided by the new machine.
The Endeavour CNC beam line features three new direct drive spindles, up to 27kW 5000rpm spindles with additional auxiliary axis movement, high speed positioning, four side scribing and a hard stamping marking unit.
