Temperature measurement best practice
19 June 2014
ABB has produced a new best practice guide on pharmaceutical distribution chain, offering advice on the best techniques to safely record the storage and transportation temperatures of pharmaceutical product.

Prepared by ABB’s instrumentation experts, the pdf-format booklet is aimed at anyone involved with the responsibility of storing or transporting medicinal produce such as drugs, vaccines, insulins and blood products. It highlights the role that instrumentation can play in protecting against the effects of external temperature conditions on product quality and stability.
The MHRA require all distributors of pharmaceutical products to measure and record storage and transportation temperatures, as well as being licensed by the appropriate authorities.
